    i had a rem 700 204 ruger. i never reloaded for it so im sure i could have gotten better groups but with a few factory ammos the best i could do wan about 2 inches at 100yds. i may not be the worlds best shot but im not that bad. the velocities were spot spot on what the factory said when i ran it through the chrono.

    You can do better, accuracy-wise, than a Ruger No. 1.

    I think they're beautiful rifles and are wholly functional.

    But a decent bolt gun or even an AR will give you as good or better accuracy AND many more follow-up shots.

    I like the ruger no.1 i've had one in 220 swift very nice kill ground hogs out 250 yards no problem. I just got one in 204 ruger and its very accurate hardy and kick very nice. I like it you only need one shot.:ar15:
