    We named this one The Lazy Bobcat, never seems to hunt, but is always around for that choice piece of pest carrion I've just shot. It sleeps in the gardener's leaf and grass clippings pile.

    I’ve yet to spot a bob cat out this way. We may be a bit too densely populated out here.

    Lol, you have absolutely no idea how populated they are. Even the best habitat in central Indiana is at least 15 years behind southern Indiana.

    I don't really care where you hunt. Frankly, I suspect that a major part of your misconception on this issue is that you actually expect to regularly see bobcats while you're hunting. Anyone telling you that the bobcat population is low either has no clue or has an agenda.
