    Happy Flag Day to everyone :patriot:

    Now for the General Firearm tie in :)

    Every year flags are respected and retired across this country, I happened to have been able to be a part of this tradition at the Mooresville Legion Post 103 yesterday.

    The honor guard uses fullly functional M1 Garands with blank adaptors for the 21 gun salute followed by Taps. After the salute the Boy Scout troop does the ceremony of properly dismanteling a flag and the rest of the Unservicable flags are then retired.

    I cant say I have ever seen pictures of proper flag burning. It is awesome to see people upholding this tradition.
