    You suck!

I mean congratulations. Love on it a bit and then let me know when you decide to fund your next project.

I took it and 2 of my "Loved on" G-I's out for a run. I am now wondering why I had to have the TRP. It ran as well as it should have but my pieces just ran better.
I am waiting on the mail. It will be just fine very soon.....:)

Got my Gunsite gun back...all prettied up on the outside, and just about completely new on the inside! (Thanks to AllenM!)

I know, right? We're lucky to have him. There's only one other smith I would have let touch this gun, but I don't think I'd have seen it back inside of a year or more.

He had already sent the gun back to you but I got the full back story on it.

I would have loved to fondle that one. There is just nothing that feels better than a properly set up 1911.....................nothing.

Thought about starting a new thread, but......

Any of you central Indy guys (and gals) ever done a 1911 meet n shoot? Just got my first 1911 a few weeks ago and would love to try some others out, and see what all the differences are. I guess meeting some of you people wouldn't be so bad either.

I have heard rumors of such events. But they are a special and very secret organization. Requires a special handshake and everything.

it's mot a Kimver but I am still proud

Congrats! That was my first 1911 as well and I love it. For the money, it's pretty sweet. I'm actually carrying it daily right now in a Galco Combat Master leather holster and have been enjoying it. I put on VZ Operator II's with the thumb scoop and really like them, even though they're VERY agressive. Hope you enjoy your SR1911 as much as I enjoy mine! :)

I watched it yesterday. This is NutNFancy's son. He's a presentation is that of the younger generation. Personally, I like the video, his style, and his S&W 1911.

I guess I should have mentioned that as well, but I didn't think about it since I knew it. Thanks! He has some other videos out as well that are pretty cool too.
