1911 Show-N-Tell

My "Supersized" 1911, LAR Grizzly, .45 Win/Mag. I added a Smith & Alexander Mainspring Housing/Magwell Guide and S&A grips.

It has a bit of a kick to it....around 1.700 FPS....

i thought my 460 throwed a flame!!!!!......i'll have to look in to one of those!!!!

Received this Sig 1911 Target from another INGO member in trade, added S&A Mag Guide, Archangel Aluminum Grips, and Wilson Combat Solid 2 Piece Guide Rod with 18# Wolff return Spring. I really like these Sig 1911's!

Nice looking 1911! looks like you need shorter screws, are the grips thin ones?

I just looked up those grips. Not to spendy. Can get them coated to go with the color scheme of the gun.

If he lived closer, I have shorter screws he could have. Color match might be off though.

I would use stainless allens with these in that color scheme. Now I will have to buy another 1911 to use a set of these.......

Any excuse to buy! Grip screws and bushing run almost as high as the grip.

Go to the archangel sight. There are some good pics of front and back. Possibly just some dremel work if they need it. That is how i modify the good hardwood grips for this.

Never considered a set for my GSG. Good thinking.......

I have grip screws that will work, I just hadn't changed them out for the picture. Lazy sometimes that's all. Grips are a good deal and well made. A bargain in my opinion. Jim

I ordered a set of the Archangel grips Friday for a 1911 I am fiddling with.

Here is my main 1911 RIA tactical I have removed the comp. I didn't care for it too much and I like the feel of the full .45 better anyway.
