I don't fault the cop at all. Sorry. Well, I'm not sorry, actually.
This is old school, military type, bad assery and as far as I'm concerned, I don't care if the dude got his wittle feeling hurt or if rules or laws were broken by the LEO.
I bet the dude's more careful in the future.

My all time "holy poop" moment was the guy who handed the check in dude a pistol with a magazine in it. Check in dude pulled the slide back to reveal a loaded magazine (clip). When confronted, the patron (whiny voice here); "Well it wasn't loaded til you pulled the slide back". I don't think I've seen that many rolling eyes since. This was at a smaller show in southern Indiana.

Guns are dangerous. Maybe they should ban Guns from the Gun Show!!!

Seriously, you couldn't pay me enough to be one of the IMPD Officers at the check in.

While not as dramatic, I heard some moron acting like he missed every sign to unload when he got to the table. Even if it was an "honest mistake ", he continued to argue. I was getting my ticket at the time but could hear some lady saying "Really, you must have past like 10 signs and you didn't bother reading any of them?!" Unfortunately some morons hurt the image of the typical gun owner.

I just hope that at the NRA convention some dickweed doesn't have a discharge! This is why EVERYONE should be required to take a firearms safety course to even purchase a firearm.
