I picked mine up yesterday at Plainfield Shooters + 1 for Bob $310 out the door.

    AR-7 floats
    10/22 is accurate

    Yup, it is more accurate.
The AR-7 breaks down smaller, and weighs half as much.
    It fills a niche.
    I have a 10/22
    I want an AR-7
Its not an "OR" situation in Indiana
    You can have both

Picked one up at Rajos in Evansville today, they have 3 more.

First impressions, very solid. Compete more with the Papoose than the AR7. Looks like it will be relatively easy to modify a Butler Creek folder to fit, the forearm will even sorta match.

I plan to add either tech sights or fiber optic.

Note: The interior sleeves in the case consist of one large pouch on one side and two narrower pouches on the other. Without a scope, the stocked action and the barrel each fit in one of the two narrower sleeves, leaving the large interior sleeve for additional stuff. I have a takedown pump shotgun that fits. :D

So I am curious what people are thinking, if you could only buy one which one would you choose: AR7, Papoose, or 10/22 Take Down? For me personally, I am leaning more towards 10/22 because I can become more familiar/comfortable with one gun. Also, I would only have to buy accessories and magazines for the 10/22. Just curious what everyone's thoughts are on this.
