I thought I'd bump this to the top for some of the new guys.
So they can understand the "any 5 year old girl can take that away from you" statement.

now I understand the 5 year-old girl reference.

I've wondered for years what the origin of that common phrase might be around here.

Thanks, now I understand the "five year old girl" references.

Now I understand where that "5 year old girl" line came from. I always wondered about that.

It's a good thread to bump.
So noobs know about the dangers of 5 year old girls.

Newbs now get the 5 year old girl thing.

This is my first time reading this. Not sure why it was bumped, but +1 for standing your ground OP. Great read.

It was bumped because it's the origin of the reference to a 5 year girl stealing your EDC if you open carry.

It's about passing down the legend to the new folks who might not realize where it came from.

I am on the constant lookout for Officer Maxey. If I ever find him, I want to get a picture with him to post on here....then I'll inform him that he is the laughing stock of a large portion of the gun community here in the midwest...

Focus your search where you see packs of 5 year old girls roaming the streets, searching for openly carried guns to snatch.

Why is it that the only thing that google finds with James Maxey South Bend Police are all related to federal lawsuits he was a defendant in, and lost... Interesting...
