Purchased my first firearm this week!

Congrats and welcome! You should definitely check out the Indy 1500 next month, a great place to feed your addiction haha.

      Starbucks "open-carry" non-issue

Plenty of cash, guns, drugs, but mostly dead bees. Most interesting thing was a tracking device a man had placed in his wife's car.

      Machines vs 9mm

The things they might be able to accomplish with graphene batteries could be a real problem if coupled with a hydrogen fuel cell.

      Online resteraunt menus

I still see too many restaurants these days that don't have a menu on their website... or even a website at all. Drives me nuts.

      goodbye Glock Hello walther

OP, what size hands would you say you have?

      Starbucks "open-carry" non-issue

There were people that came into the install bay to have speakers, sat. radio, etc. installed who open carried. That never bothered us and we didn't say anything about it, but we did ask them to remove their car gun if they had one. Those are always interesting to find under the seat or in the...

      Starbucks "open-carry" non-issue

When I worked at Best Buy in college we had a similar policy. We were told not to confront anyone with a gun but to inform the manager on duty. Not sure what was supposed to happen after that as I never encountered a customer open carrying out on the sales floor.

      Any Jeepers in here?

I'd be lying if I said the new Mustang didn't look sexy, but I wish they hand't incorporated so much of the Fusion design into the front end. The GT's back end though... ohhh yeahhhh.

A Pocket to Subcompact Sized Carry

Well I didn't say it but I have said I'm an engineer in another post so it'd be easy to put together. I've been looking up a lot of cc holsters and have been pretty impressed with some of the results. I think something the size of a CW9 or smaller would be quite manageable. Someone also...

A Pocket to Subcompact Sized Carry

Could you provide a link? Maybe I'm not very good at this yet but I searched up to 4 weeks back on your profile (as far as it would let me go) and I didn't see it. Thanks.

Netflix is the Devil, and Roku its minion!

Don't forget Breaking Bad and the first 4 seasons of Dexter. I second Archer being the funniest thing on Netflix but just can't get into Bob's Burgers.

What to do with OLD microwave?

I don't believe you can just set it out at the curb. They often contain Beryllium Oxide as part of the ceramic insulator; BeO is carcinogenic. There are a lot of electronics recycling businesses popping up lately, I'd see if your county will accept older microwaves or maybe somewhere like Best...

Greenfield Gun and Knife Show Feb. 22nd & 23rd

Haven't been to this show before. How big is it? How many vendors usually?

A Pocket to Subcompact Sized Carry

I went up north this weekend and held one at On Target in Kalamazoo. I really liked the feel; I'm adding this one to my list. I'm down to the P938, PPS, PM/CM 9 or possibly the CW9 if the size isn't an issue. I still love the Solo but I don't want to be forced to buy 147 grain hollow points...

      Machines vs 9mm

"Have you tried turning them off then turning them back on again?" But for real, maybe Thermite? Chances are you'll need a high tech solution for a high tech problem.

Almost as bad as that tower climing video

My hands got sweaty just watching that. It's good to know my body's first response to a hold-on-for-dear-life situation is "let me get those hands nice and sweaty for you"

      Paper is not dead

I believe taking notes by pen and paper is the best way to actually remember something. Even the tablets you can write on just aren't the same.

      DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES!?

Just watched it. Amazing game but growing up as a wings fan, I kept wanting to root for the guys in the red and white haha. Sad to hear about Zetterberg.

A Pocket to Subcompact Sized Carry

I've seen those on a few YouTube reviews. Doesn't that stuff tear up your hand at the range? It looks just like skateboard grip tape.
