      Only one gun for the rest of your life!?

      I think I'd go with a Mossberg 590. There are a lot of different types of ammo available and the 590 can take a lot of mods.

      Is this why no carry in schools?

      I carry at least one knife on me at all times. Two or more if I am leaving my house. Back in highschool, my biggest problem with it was having to disarm myself to attend. Now, I've only a few times been a victim of abuse, but I always feel better when I'm armed. You never know when you might...
