      1911 Show-N-Tell

      It is a late 1930's vintage commercial Colt frame with a Colt military contract slide. Bar Sto MT barrel. Melted Micro sight. hard chrome finish. The pistol came to me in deplorable condition and the slide was not salvageable. Ed

      Mostly a Colt Government Model .45 or an XD9. Sometimes a Browning Hi Power. When circumstances dictate something smaller the Kel Tec PF-9 gets the nod. Ed

      There is really no reasn you can't have both. I have several of each type and enjoy them all. Don't be limited by mere expense, after all, we can't take all that money with us. Life is short, eat dessert first!!!! Ed

      As a back up gun the Beretta 21 is a good one. Reliable and easy to carry. I love mine and have carried it for many years as a back up to my 1911 or XD. Ed
