      I shoot trap on a regular basis and the answer to the first question on the barrel length I would go with a 28 in. I shoot a Browning Bt-99 but for a semi-auto you can't beat a good 1100 or an 1187 the price range might hold you back to the mossberg but if you could suezze out a few more bucks...

      what i would do is just take it slow and just start all of your sideplate screws first then tighten them together let me know how things are going would love to see the finished product

      there are some good places to send to have it reblued or case hardened i am a big fan of nickle plated recivers with blued barrels it makes a gun stand out expecially with a very good set of furniture on it and not a problem glad I could help

      It almost looks like when they tried to put the gun back together they didn't put the barrels back on the roll pin correctly and got it wedged in i would push over the break down lever and gently try to pull the barrels down away from the reciever

      Shotgun help

      There are alot of good gun choices out there but for my deer gun I prefer my muzzleloader still i can get out over a hundred yards with little bullet drop. Browning also makes a really nice slug gun in either twelve or twenty.
