Civilian "assault" rifles, carbines, and shotguns

For the record I asked for shotgun and carbine models also. I asked for a list. A list that could help inform people of models they may overlook or be unaware of. People were curious what the list is for, and for me personally it's to make sure I'm not overlooking any platforms before I make a...

Can apartments in Indiana legally prohibit firearms?

As others have said, if it's private property then the landlord/agency can legally prohibit firearms. If you choose to have one anyway you will just be in violation of your lease agreement, you won't be breaking an actual law in regards to firearms.

Civilian "assault" rifles, carbines, and shotguns

In terms of long guns as a whole a standard AR-15 magazine offers a much higher capacity then most, even though 30 rounds is the standard in regards to that platform. I'm not interested in just simply semi-automatic firearms, if I were then that would also take into consideration long guns such...

Civilian "assault" rifles, carbines, and shotguns

Thank you to those who have posted with what was asked. For everyone else, no one is making you post here. If you don't like the thread, just keep scrolling and continue on with your day. I thought this could provide quick acess to a list of select firearms. People constantly ask for guns...

Civilian "assault" rifles, carbines, and shotguns

Forgot all about the FAL. Never heard about Valmet before. Wouldnt consider the AR-70, it doesnt appear to be readily available from what I see. HK's are primarily AR variants, the only other model that's civilian legal that I can think of without a tax stamp is the SL8 but it's tough to find...

Civilian "assault" rifles, carbines, and shotguns

Thought it would be nice to have a thread with a list of all the currently manufactured or readily available high capacity semi-auto civilian arms (what the news would probably call assault even though we know better) Guns known to me that I can think of at the moment Rifles: 1. AR-15...

      EDC Flashlight recomendations?

Exactly what I was going to say. I have one and love it. I strongly disagree with esrice on the quality. I had my friends Surefire for a while and it felt to be less quality, less bright, and highly more expensive. Most people will vote that a Surefire is better is based solely on being...

      SKS restoration

Nice Job! I bet I know the reasoning behind the cut bayonet. The 30+ round mags curve so much the bayonet will not fold ot unfold when the mag is locked in. They probably cut it down so the bayonet could function still

      SKS restoration

Thank for the help guys. Decided I'm just going to list the gun back up for sale without the magazines. Don't like the idea of switching out parts and I'm just not a fan of the box clip.

      SKS restoration

Pardon my ignorance. I've just heard it being called a class three license. He did not sell guns, just had a large collection. I knew he had a machine gun that he paid taxes on. Thanks guys and yes the bayonet is on correctly

      SKS restoration

I've had the gun for about 10 years. My uncle gave it to me years ago and he has his class 3 license. When he gave it to me it had a 30 round USA mag, because he has more guns than anyone I know I never doubted its legality. I just replaced that with a 20 round Tapco. I've read the compliance...

      SKS restoration

Thanks Guys. It cost about 25 bucks to do the stock. Stripper, stain, polyurethane, sandpaper and a cheesecloth. It's a Dark Walnut stain. Not sure what the stripper is, I'll let you know tomorrow. I've gotten mixed feedback about the compliance rule. I've been looking into that. Right now...

      SKS restoration

Some of you may know I've been trying to sell my SKS. Well after no luck I decided I would just keep it. I took it shooting the other day and wasn't happy. My 30 round magazine has only jammed once since I've had it and that was with some lacquer coated ammo I was given. The other day it jammed...

      Finally got me an AR

A way over due report. Shot the gun weeks ago and it performed flawlessly. Ended up putting the primary arms cantilever mount on it. I liked the look of it flat on the rail, but it functions much better with the mount and the new look is growing on me. Laser bore sighted it last weekend since...
