I was pursuing through Purdue's Student Bill of Rights, and a few things caught my attention. Article 18 and 19 seem to explicitly provide protections against Constitutional infringement by university policies.

I do see what you mean about title/size/type uniformity. This is definitely something I can make more consistent over time.
Unfortunately I do not have an iPhone to develop with. However, most of the functionality is available from the website. For now, adding a bookmark of the website to your home screen will at least remove some of the browser controls that might get in the way of navigating around the mobile site.
