      .22 LR Back pack pistol recommendations

      I have the Ruger MK II Government Model, 5 inch. Was the sub caliber pistol when Army used the 1911. Heavy, accurate, and reliable. Take down like any other Ruger MK. If you are in a BOB situation, you are most likely not thinking about take down and cleaning.

      Churchmouse=Mine is from the second group seedubs1- that is exactly the issue, the trigger group is too far back. 'light' tap did not work. I will contact BCI and see what they say. Not sure if this is something that they can fix. Possibly re-mill the front slightly? Otherwise, I got the PSA...

      Ruger 10/22 decision

      Barrel stock options are fewer on the takedown, but any other options upgrades work on both. Out of the box, they are the same, but once you start adding barrels and stocks, then the standard comes out on top.
