      Russia vs. Ukraine Part 3

I know it's fairly easy for them to add even multiple servos onto these drones, so it could either use an electrical or some kind of mechanical (syringe push?) to move glycerin maybe? Could also be useful for decommissioning tanks so they can't be re-used, in the off chance the Ruskies actually...

      Russia vs. Ukraine Part 3

I wonder how they initiate the reaction, it needs quite a bit of energy to kick off I think. Apparently you can buy the stuff for dirt cheap though https://www.pyrocreations.com/thermite-kit-red-oxide-1-lb.html

      Russia vs. Ukraine Part 3

The impact of drones, and RF spectrum control by extension, can't be understated. I've been following along with keen interest; the government has been steadily making operation of drones in the US more and more difficult.

Sitting at the receiving end of gun fire from (assumed) Glock with a switch

I googled it, looks like they're both about the same. I swear I had read that the G18 (intentionally) had some method of slowing it down to make it more manageable. It's the kind of thing that I think would be fun to shoot, but not really practical unless you could convert it to a SBR style...

Sitting at the receiving end of gun fire from (assumed) Glock with a switch

My understanding is the "Switch" results in an even higher ROF than the G18, so even less controllable

      Back home again, in Indiana!

Are there natural creeks and elevation change around the property? I assume so if you describe it as "bottom land", which means it's near waterways or otherwise retains water, right? Everything feels awfully flat up north, but if you have 50 acres of old growth it's probably land that was...

      Back home again, in Indiana!

Seems like it's hard to find land that's both appealing and reasonably priced, or if you do find that it's 60 minutes from anywhere.

      Novelty guns what you got!!??

I had a SPAS-12, total meme gun but the only picture I can find of it is a blurry "family photo" and a video of my buddy running it. Anyway, all metal stock and needing to run somewhat hot loads for it to cycle cleanly meant it kicked like a mule. Also it's comically large. I sold it with the...

Blue Origin's rocket is gonna launch a crew of 6 at 0900 today.

I'm pretty sure I built that rocket in Kerbal Space Program. Also that game might be the best way to learn orbital mechanics yet.

      Back home again, in Indiana!

You know, it's not too bad. There's something going on every week that's interesting, but not something going on every night that leaves you feeling like you're missing out. The older I get, the less interesting going out becomes anyway ;P

      Back home again, in Indiana!

I think I should look for land down south, maybe near Nashville, IN or Brown County. Indianapolis is just too flat, too many houses, not enough trees.

PART 3: I'm new an your 50-post rule sucks! Please change it for my convenience, and what is all this crap about pineapple on pizza.

The pineapple is not for me! At one point I think I paid some money to INGO at an Indy 1500 that might have exempted me from the 50 post rule, at least however many years ago. I suspect anything like that has changed. I am thinking I'll make the Indy 1500 that's coming up in a week or so, I...

      Back home again, in Indiana!

Hmm wish I could delete my past comments from 2012 maybe, not sure what specifically you're referring to though. I did read the rules now, none of it seems problematic. Maybe I should just make a new account.

Blue Origin's rocket is gonna launch a crew of 6 at 0900 today.

I'm excited to see their New Glenn rocket start launching to orbit! These sub-orbital flights just feel like nothing but a stepping stone to orbit.

      Back home again, in Indiana!

Moved back to the midwest after a few years on the East Coast, the views aren't quite as good as the Appalachians but the cost to live is much nicer.

Anybody seen a Tavor collapsible charging handle?

There are aftermarket handles for the FS2000 that do what you want, perhaps they'll work here -- or could be the basis of having a working part CNC'd

      For all Liberal Gun Owners

Just the terms "conservative" and "liberal" paint with too broad a brush. Thinking that gays should be allowed to be "married" -- makes you liberal?
