Hmm wish I could delete my past comments from 2012 maybe, not sure what specifically you're referring to though. I did read the rules now, none of it seems problematic. Maybe I should just make a new account.
No, your account is fine. old posts are kosher. PM inbound.

Welcome back! I'm sure you're already prepared for how boring indiana will be once you've left and came back.
You know, it's not too bad. There's something going on every week that's interesting, but not something going on every night that leaves you feeling like you're missing out. The older I get, the less interesting going out becomes anyway ;P

Welcome back! Southern Indiana is great, we have hills, and across the river, all the carjackings you could want... ok, maybe just stay north of the river... Indy is a neat town...Enjoy the forum!!

Then you're not looking in the right places.
    Welcome to Ingo from Lafayette
You are right sir. As an example if one heads north toward Michigan City and the Indiana Dunes state park it is a different kind of view. Nothing like standing atop a sand dune and looking at the Indiana ocean (lake Michigan). It is a sight to behold. Just my :twocents:

I have 50 acres of bottom land in southern Fountain county.
All 50 acres are natural growth woods.
When I'm in the middle of my woods, it's easy to imagine what it was like for the pioneers.
It's very easy to lose your sense of direction if you don't know the area.

Are there natural creeks and elevation change around the property? I assume so if you describe it as "bottom land", which means it's near waterways or otherwise retains water, right? Everything feels awfully flat up north, but if you have 50 acres of old growth it's probably land that was unsuitable for farming, so maybe some nice water flows and escarpments.

Did you build on the property?
