FINALLY got to test my first handloads

I would try really hard to find some powder in a shop locally, that $25 lb of powder will cost ya $50 with the hazmat fee

FINALLY got to test my first handloads

I am new also, the way I understand it, as long as you do not go under min OAL you should be fine, but going longer will not hurt anything as long as your firearm feeds the longer round. I welcome correction if I am mistaken.

FINALLY got to test my first handloads

Yup they all fired and ejected fine. After reviewing different books and such I chose to start with the load data from the powder manufacturer, which for 115 gr lead cast round nose the min Cartridge Overall Length (COL) is 1.070

WHYYYYY are you giving in to these .22lr gougers!?

Ive heard "Self-imposed" shortage many times recently, and I can not agree more. The longer people pay the extremely inflated prices the longer the gougers will be making ~100% profit. IF I see some instock and walmart or dunhams i will get a box or two, but I just cannot fathom the NEED to have...

      Which Military Rifle to get?

After researching prices a bit I fear I may have no choice but to start with a Mosin. I may try to hold off a few months and try to make it to a few gun shows to see what shows up. I just got back in contact with an old co-worker who is into the older mil surp rifles as well so I will have a few...

      Which Military Rifle to get?

I am new to firearms (just over a year), and I am interested in getting into some old military rifles but I am also on a budget. I know a lot of people will say to get a Mosin, but what other options are out there that wont break the bank? I also just got into reloading and from what I've been...

      NiceTargets Target pack review.

After receiving my test pack of targets from NiceTargets and excitedly opened the package I was surprised at the quality of the targets, I was expecting thin and flimsy plastic that would not hold up well but the durability of these targets was very good. I took the target of the rabbit (see...
