If the government passes background checks, and makes it so all sales have to be transfered, you can bet your bottom dollar they will cash in on it. I can see them forcing the FFLs to have to pay a "tax" of each transfer. Then you will see the prices go up even more.

I think alot of it is that these people that whine about price, is from people that have never been self employed. They might look at it a little different if they actually had to run a business.

If you are going to sell handguns in Indiana, you will also need a State Firearms License. Plus, you will have to give uncle sugar his cut. So you will need a merchant sales certificate. Good luck.
How long do you think it will be before the government demands "part" of the transfer fees? If they force all private sales to go through an ffl, I can see them taking a "tax" portion of the transfer. Just my opinion.
