bersa good hand gun or no?

That's a hell of an endorsement if I lived in Argentina. Don't care. Can you name me one American law enforcement agency that uses them? Can they digest 500 rds. a day for a 2 or 3 day class? I doubt it, IMHO if you feel comfortable using a Bersa go for it but I take personal defense a little...

bersa good hand gun or no?

Bersa's are hobby guns. I have been to many training classes, don't remember seeing many Bersa's. The two I did see didn't make it through 300 rds. without problems. If you want to trust your life to a Bersa have at it. Good Luck.

bersa good hand gun or no?

If you want one to shoot great buy one, if on the other hand you are buying it for personal defense, no. There are much better choices.

      What to carry? (need opinions)

I've seen way to many 1911's especially shortys malfunction for my taste. And I used to be a great proponent of the 1911 platform. Glocks and M&P's aren't nearly as sexy as a 1911 but they work out of the box.

      New flashlight

For a small 1 CR123 light I just got a Olight I10 and it seems to be a very nice light. Adjustable power and strobe with 205 lumens at the top end. Only downside so far seems to be a little on the slippery side. Olight I10 Infinitum Flashlight I-10 6-205 Lumens uses 1xCR123A

Hey Joe, how are you? That sounds like a great light. Any reliability issues?

      What to carry? (need opinions)

If people don't have better gun handling skills than having an ND with a particular type of weapon maybe they shouldn't be carrying a gun. If you like .45's take a good look at an M&P45 compact. Same size as a Glock 19 and handles better that a Glock 30. IMHO, of course.

      Stippling > or = RTF2?

I prefer stippling, the RTF finish feels prickly. Not what you want grinding in to your side if you carry IWB without an undershirt.

What non glock pistol do you carry?

I switch off between a full size M&P9 and Glock 19. Wish they would make an M&P the same size as the 19.

Ordered my christmas present yesterday . . M&P 9mm? Dont mind if I do!

I wouldn't worry if the M&P gets a little loose, mine has around 12,000rds and works great.

      Combative Shotgun

Hey George, I must say I am surprised that OO buck did not penetrate winter clothing. Do you have any more info on this? What load? Do you think this was a fluke or a common occurrence? Do you have a class outline you could send me for your shotgun class? Do you incorporate any of the CAR...

First class with George and will train with him again. Everything he teaches he can back up with facts and can explain why it works. Not all techniques will work for all body styles but he knows from experience what modifications need to be made to make it work efficiently for the individual...
