I do like the distressed look on that model and if I had a lot of disposable income then maybe, but you are paying a lot for the look and not for better function of other Sig 1911's that are less.
I think everyone has their favorites so there are a lot of good opinions out there. My favorite right now is the Ruger LCR 357. Semi Autos are going to be more practical with more ammo in the magazines. I would like to shoot the Sig 365.
The LCP 2 has a lot of benefits that make it a great pocket gun. The EC9 is about $50 less, sights aren't as great, and triggers not as good. I did order an EC9 due to price and reliability and going to try to pocket carry it. If I had more money to spend, I would probably go with a Sig P938...
I had 2 40's and yes several stores wasn't interested in buying them and I eventually traded them in for a lot less. I just don't like paying so much more for the ammo.
I have never had a Glock feel comfortable in my hands so I have never bought or shot one. Shot a Sig 226 Legion and fell in love with how smooth the trigger is and how accurate I was with it.
I rented one last week at the range and liked it, but for the small grip, I can't see spending that much on one personally. I have a friend that carries one and I could see a use for that.
