      Try 20/40 grit corn cob media (not pet bedding either get media) and treat with a little nufinish. With the corn cob an hour or two at the most produces some really high polished brass.       Thoughts on the lee pro 1000

      I wish I still had the money I spent on mine although it is OK I would have saved another two hundred or so and bought a hornady LNL. They will load ammo just be prepared to hand prime you will understand after you load and prime on the press a bit

      personal shooting range

      I only have 2.6 acres and shoot often on my place. I only have about a fifty yard range but it works for me. I do have the advantage of a nice natural hillside to absorb any fliers that might get past my bullet trap.

      Save your money and buy a Hornady I wish I would have! Be prepared to hand prime if you do buy the Lee you will understand after you own one.

      Consensus on 3" 1911 .45 ACP Ammo

      Personaly I would prefer the heavier round but either choice would probably be effective in the event you are required to use it. It is un forunate that in Indiana we can not hunt anthing larger than a squirrel with the .45 acp. it would be nice to try our carry rounds in a real life situation...
