Its cool, it didn't offend me. I just added my thoughts to the bike. It has a love hate following. the owners love them, but a lot of people look down at them since it is not a true CR.
That R1200RT is a nice looking bike. 350miles to a tank would be nice. I would cleanup in mileage for...
I will have to look for that book.
I was given this link from a buddy. It has some routes and ratings for them. Indiana Motorcycle Roads & Trips - Best Indiana Motorcycle Rides & Routes
Once we get some better weather I am going to do the Nashville route with a co-worker.
I have...
The bike is a 2002 Suzuki katana 600. I picked it up with only 2252 miles on it and only paid 1500.00 bucks. Nothing wrong with it other than having to replace fluids, carb cleaning, plugs and air filter.
I have logged about 400 miles so far.
The starting issue is due to a leaky float needle in carb #1. We cleaned and did a carb sync and it was leaking so we tore it apart again and the second cleaning helped a little. I just need to get a float height gauge and a new float needle and it should be good from there.
I just got my first bike and want to hit some small towns and see the countryside.
Where do you ride to or where would you go? I travel all over for work, but mainly use GPS to guide my way.
With the bike I like to jump on and ride not really having a set destination.
So far I have gone...
Gotta love the Glock matches. Last year was a great match with all the volunteers that showed up. I hope we have the same number or more volunteers show up.
The volunteers are working out great.
You still need paid staff that knows the in's and out's of the daily tasks and to over see the volunteers.
The range should open up in a couple weeks.
Just keep an eye on the ECPR website for status updates.
I wanting to get a Fenix flashlight of some flavor and wanted to know if anyone knew of a local source to buy them. I know they can be picked up at the gun show and online. I have some down time this week and need to get out of the house.
Thanks.
Parking was crazy due to the snow banks. There was a lot of folks the room was full with vendors. Most were private collections and the prices were not the best. Some Ok deals.
I looked at a Kel-tec .223 pistol on display just because the guy had a pistol grip front grip with flashlight on...
I have a Ruger MKIII hunter, Buckmark and have played around with a lot of other .22"s
Guns that I do not own, but have played with:
1. 22A is very nice. My buddy just got one at the last 1500. we took it out last weekend and had zero issues and it was comfortable and accurate.
2...
They don’t have video from that area? I have been there around lunchtime and the foot traffic is crazy. You would think that in a very high foot traffic area by the main lobby they would have some kind of video cameras.
I’m glad she is ok and did what she did to these punks to walk away...
Junk yard? That type of part cant be year specific, maybe a range of years, but might be a lot ceaper if you have a pull-a-parts type of place near by .
1. Mushrooms
I have tried them. The smell and texture, even if they were on something and picked off it still is nasty.
2. Pie of anykind (minus pudding pie with a oreo crust)
3. Jello
Stop paying rent. Save the cash and copy the notices. So the landlord cannot try to evict you before the bank/new owner can. Save the rent money and wait for a eviction notice from the bank/new owner.
Have your stuff semi-packed for a speedy move.
I used to clean my 22 pistols after each trip to the range. Since I shoot them just about every weekend I stopped that. My buckmark pistol & rifle along with the Ruger MKIII can run from 500 to a 1000 rounds without cleaning. On the buckMark pistol I have just added oil and kept going. I...
