I tried to use L1 in applying for Florida permit and was told by L1 that they did not deal with state yet. This was about a month ago so it might be worth giving them a call to see if that has changed. Good Luck.
GO L1. I mailed mine before I knew about L1 and waited 13 weeks for my LTCH. My son used L1 and had his license in hand in eight days. In my opinion, ten dollars well spent. Since my 4 year license had expired, I could not carry during that 13 weeks - not good!!!
Both parties involved treated the other with respect and the end result was positive with original problem resolved. That is the way it SHOULD work every time.
To Anderson, IN - I can't send pm yet - not enough posts. In response to your message, I had two copies mailed to me (figured I would probably screw one up) but from what I understand downloading the form works as well. My check cleared in 8 days so I know that it is in process. They give you...
For whatever it is worth, I contacted L1 about the Florida permit and was told that the service was not available for that state yet. I had prints taken at Hendricks Co. Sheriff and mailed application packet in the old fashioned way. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the link to Application for Handgun License. I guess this was pretty obvious but I'm still finding my way around this forum including the FAQ section.
OK. Please excuse my stupidity but I have been reading posts and have not found the info I need. Here is my situation..... I renewed my LTCH the old fashioned way before I was aware of L-1. Now my son plans to apply for his lifetime license. I understand how to contact L-1 but must have...
I have only had this happen once but, since it was late at night on a very dark county road, I informed the officer that I did have a gun in the vehicle. He responded that he suspected that when he saw that pink piece of paper behind my license. The only question he asked was where the gun...
I agree since I to am also an old fart. Personally I would rather no one even know I am carrying until weapon is needed. However, if open carry makes you more comfortable, more power to you.
I agree it is a step in the right direction. Class A misdemeanor is not good but better than a Class D Felony. As a teacher I cannot have a weapon locked in my vehicle while at work (school) even though I hold a valid LTCH. Who benefits from this situation?
I want to apply for a Florida Concealed Carry Permit and am looking for a qualifying firearms safety course in the Indy area. The only course that I know about at the present time is the Utah class offered by Gander Mt. but don't know if this would also qualify for Florida app.. I hold an...
