Probably can't make it to this event, but it sounds awesome. I hope these keep up as I've been hoping to find opportunities to shoot in this style. Is this range always set up for practical shooting or is it by special event only?
you'll most likely need, depending on the stock you get:
stock, buffer tube, buffer, buffer spring, castle nut, latch plate.
PSA, Spikes, etc, etc sell stock kits at a good value.

let's see, that would be at least $70 in gas (if not $100), plus 9 hours of my life, plus $4.20 in taxes (just so I don't leave anything out ;) ).
i apologize for trying...
Alright, barring any unforeseen hiccups I should be out there.

What's the protocol for trying some other user's firearms? I'm in the market for a fullsize service/duty pistol and I see there's going to be at least a few M&P, XD, Glocks, etc. It'd be great to get a chance to shoot them side by side.
there are several posts on ar15.com regarding the plum crazy lower failing. the verdict is still out on the new frontier lower though. I think that many people are afraid to chance it after giving plum crazy a shot.
