Sellier & Bellot large pistol primers

So far these primers work fine in my 45 Colt Vaquero's. And in my Smith 629 44 Mag.

      Ted Nugent Ammo

I have met Ted in person. I rather like him. He isn't perfect but he has done a lot for the shooting sports.

      Winchester 94, your thoughts..

Agree with the others. I take extra care even of my "shooter" guns. No doubt I would carry and shoot the Ranger.

Does anyone know anyone fairly local who can do Color Case Hardening?

Is there anyone in Indiana who can do Color Case Hardening? I have a NIB Winchester 94 Trapper that has the nasty bluing from the 70's. I would like to color case harden the receiver, lever, and barrel ring, plus maybe the hammer. Any help would be appreciated. Doug Turnbull is TOO EXPENSIVE.

Why do you include a wink in your posts?

Well hopefully the kid wasn't serious about sticking a pistol in his school laptop bag. Wink or not.

Firearms/AMMO market in the near future

I think the crazy prices will end soon but I don't think cheap ammo will return. I have turned to reloading to combat this mess.

      Gunsmithing: Screwdriver sets

I was in Gander the other day and they had a screwdriver set in the junk bin for 5 bucks. It was a 8 screwdriver set but was missing one of the small ones. I bought it and called Grace (the company who made them) and they sent me the one I needed for free. I have used this set a bunch. Not bad huh?

      Bow as a Backup?

Yes I like the recurve or long bow for a survival scenario. Very light weight, quiet, and very accurate with practice. Arrows are reusable and you can make your own arrows out of wood or man made materials. Yep for me a big handgun and a bow is a great pair.

Capitalism is so broken it can’t be fixed

IMO Capitalism is just fine. Gouging would go nowhere if people wouldn't pay the high prices. I haven't paid too much for anything recently because I'm a smart shopper and I research all purchases. And... I keep a good supply of stuff I really need.
