My high school i graduated from is having a football game at lucas oil this weekend and my little brother is playing at half-time with the band. I believe carry is prohibited because it is a "school function". (Do not care about lucas oil policies just the felony of carrying at school function.)...
Also just realized it today but apex tactical now has their aftermarket trigger in a polymer version for 40.00!!! going to be ordering one of those soon! just couldn't justify the 80.00 for the alum machined one but i could handle 40!!!
I was hitting a torso or smaller sized steel target about 2 weeks ago with my m&p40 full size from 100 or more yards. I didn't hit it everytime but i didnt expect to hit it everytime either!
MAYBE i wasn't wearing any underwear!! I understand where you are coming from and can see the pros and cons to both informing and not informing. Like I said i just felt more comfortable telling him i was carrying.
Yep thats me exactly!! I just walk around yelling to everyone "HEY EVERYONE I...
HAHA thats ok i have really thick skin! I look at it this way... IF i was an officer I would rather know up front that the person i have pulled over is carrying and has informed me because if i just happen to have it catch my eye in the car it would startle me if i wasn't informed that it was...
Yea i'm completely aware that i was over the limit. We were in no hurry at all either but its one of those country roads that has a 35 mph speed limit and everyone run 50-55. I know that i was in the wrong and am just glad he let me off with just a verbal warning, and that the stop went smoothly!
Got stopped tonight for speeding by knox county sheriff department deputy. I knew i screwed up as soon as i met him on the road and saw he started turning around on me. I pulled over at the next intersection, window down and both hands visible. He was very couteous and polite, I immediately...
The sd is about 9 lb trigger pull. Putting the apex kit brought it down a bit and helped with my tendecy to shoot a little low and left. nothing too crazy and again i wouldnt even give a second thought to trusting my life to it everyday. i just like my M&P trigger better, but the sd is NEVER...
GREAT gun. have put 700 at least trouble free rounds through mine since december! Carried from the day i got my permit up until i bought my M&P! The sd is seconday night stand gun! Only downside to the gun is the trigger is not good but the apex trigger kit helps some.
i sure wish S&W would have gave this gun the trigger it deserved from the factory. I shot about 50 rounds through it yesterday. (took my fiance to the range with me for the first time so i let her shoot way more than i did, this was her reward for taking the basic safety class at applied...
SOOO MANY OPTIONS!!!! haha... i am going to go shoot the gun some tomorrow and try and figure out exactly what i am going to do. I dont care to make the trigger pull any less pound wise but just want a shorter pull.
I have actually not even shot it yet... yes i know flame me... but I have put about 600-700 rounds through my sd40 and the trigger pull length is pretty close to the same. I shot a guys new glock 10mm a couple weeks ago and fell in love with the trigger but love the smith and wesson feel...
I would love to do that but don't want to be without my gun for up to 6 months. I'm a machinist by trade so doing the install and other work is no problem.
So i found an M&P 40 on monday and really want shorten the trigger on this thing. This gun is my everyday carry piece so i don't want a crazy short and light trigger but the stock trigger is just not great. I am thinking of getting the aek trigger and the dcaek kit from apex. Was wondering if...
