Been there and it is a good little shop! Lot's of stuff and friendly folks.

      Alliant 2400

Why does everyone seem to be out of this powder? One of the small guys said they could not get it anymore and a lot of the online suppliers are "out of stock".

Challenge to Dogma on Owning a Home

I have never liked the idea of throwing money away each month on rent. Buying homes is the best investment we've ever made. We built a nice home 24 years ago, worked hard to get it paid off and now, as said above, just rent it from the state. At least we have something to show for our money spent.

      Cardinals destroying house windows

The plastic owls do nothing to deter pesky birds. Bought one (+/- $25) for a construction job and within a couple of hourd they were sitting on it, and I don't have to tell you the rest of the story!

      M1

I'd say to start with the CMP. I didn't really know what to look for and I got burned on my first one at a gun show. Garand's are very interesting and fantastic weapons. Good luck in your search for a good one.

      So Remington sold out..

Never did care much for Remington products. Especially their .22 ammo. Won't go off 10% of the time!

      Senator Coats Letter to Reid

Fantastic for Sen. Coats. I also, don't think Donnelly will do anything but go with the democratic flow and kiss up to Obama. EVERYONE, remember him next election!!

      Stack-On safe shelf clips?

Not sure what type of clips that Stack On uses. My Liberty safe uses K-V clips. They can be found at cabinet supply houses along with drawer guides, hinges and pulls.

      Mixed feelings about gander mountain........

Gander Mountain is a great place to go and browse for things you might want. Then, go home and buy it on line. As for guns... I think you can buy them cheaper about anywhere you go!

      Help with problem??

Since last October I have had a nightly deposit of Busch Lite beer cans in front of my house. My first thought was that I must have made someone mad. Maybe that's the case, but, I can't imagine who or why. I picked up about 25 cans every weekend (all Busch). I had a Johnson Count Sheriff come...

      President Obama picks Indiana...

      Degrading ammo

I have some 1948 winchester M2 ball that I bought 10 years ago. I keep it in sealed ammo cans with dessicant. It seems to be as good as ever!

Gunsmiths in/near Bloomington for sight installation?

Scroggins Gun Shop in Martinsville did some work for me a while back. They can mount a scope for you!

      Beretta Urika

I've had a 391 for several years. Swings and points great, And as previously stated, the stock is adjustable with different washers. You can fit to about anyone. Great gun!

      Government stockpiling

Maybe we'll get to buy it for surplus in a few years at half the price or less. Kinda like their $125 toilet seats!
