Forgot to mention a PM9 Kahr with Crimson Trace as well. Only downside to that is the 6 or 7 shot (depending on mag) capacity. Still a small 9mm - tough to beat.
I guess I'm too late for my 2 cents. I have a Kel Tec that has been flawless with a crimson trace laser. I have several more expensive pistols -- but the KT is always the one i grab for my pocket.
Glock models have a lot of versatility for hicap in 40 or 9mm. I chose 9 because i like the inexpensive rds. But if you don't plan on shooting a ton - go for the 40.
Midwest Gun Exchange generally has great prices on Glocks. I pd 459 for a gen 3 19 not long ago. I know they are not "local" for you. i drive about an hour and 15 round trip to go there and think its worth it.
Does anyone ever shop at Blade Play in this thread? I ordered a couple things and they were just as described. Yes - some cheap stuff but they generally are up front about quality to expect.
Sorry for jumping in but can anyone confirm that the AR market is down relative to 18 mos ago? I'm going to sell mine for $500 - for quick sale and I don't think I' "giving" it away at this point just ready to move on and I did get adeal on it...trade so I really don't have that much in it.
I have a Kahr PM9 and a baby Glock. Kahr is more concealable...far less capacity, just as reliable as the Glock. But I sure like the G capacity and carry high cap mags for a HUGE amt available.
I acquired an ar and thought they were a robust design - never fail. I think now I was wrong. Even though the one I have eats absolutley anything. i know so many with them that have soooo many issues. may I should have stuck with bolt action.
