It's already been discussed some but working at a range I'll give you a report from what I've seen purchase wise in the small compact 9mm handguns.
Kahr triggers may be one of the more polarizing topics for people to discuss, me personally I think they are better than most in the fact they are...
Um....shortest? I wasn't disagreeing with you till this sentence about firearm season length caught me off guard...still not disagreeing just curious...
We have on average 30 days +/- where firearms can be utilized in a hunt. Some counties can add another 7 days +/- if you are in a county with...
Than do not, EVER, complain about anything further when the legislatures start getting their hands deeper into fishing and hunting.
Also just an fyi, it is not just bowhunters that opposed their inclusion. Sure if you polled bowhunters and then gunhunters (not guys/gals that do both) sure the...
Here's my greatest beef with this whole thing, and every sportsman should feel the same (no matter your stance on HPRs allowed).
The DNR and even the NRC were formed by the State to organize and operate and run all Fish and Wildlife related things. Bag limits, seasons, regulations and such...
Closing on 21.7 acres here, and I plan on making my own cabin with the structural frame being made of pallets (cheap option to consider). I'll be of course plywood sheeting and tieing all mine together because I will spend nights in it and get a wood stove and such but a basic pallet floor/walls...
I say to avoid all the confusion and "idiot-ness" of cartridges being legal out of a pistol but not a long gun and so on so forth is either make them legal or illegal entirely. :D
Easy for me to say though, I only bow hunt anymore for deer personally. Gun hunting them doesn't have the thrill...
It the original write up I state I think the LC9s has a slightly better trigger....I have to admit I disagree now. This Bersa's trigger breaks so clean and without a wall that even if the LC9s trigger may lbs wise be less (not sure if so or not) the BP's is so much crisper.
No I know the drill, and have never thought it professional or proper at all. If you have a professional trainer around simply hand them the gun and see if it is the sights or the shooter. :D
I've already responded to this but this is a thought I get from time to time when guys at the range try out my Bersa BP9CC...
...the sad fact is when a solid product is made or a better product is made you can charge what competitors are if not more. There is ZERO things about the LC9s that I...
Any range should have a Range Safety Officer with higher than the average joe pistol control, have them shoot 2-4 shots with it before assuming it is the gun. I work at a range and you'd be AMAZED at how often we show people it isn't the gun, the smallest grip or trigger finger placement can...
This thing has been turning heads among the staff at the range I work. One of our younger RSO's just shot it last night and cannot get over how the trigger is so light and their is zero wall prior to breaking. He said it best in that there is ZERO single stack small frame guns that have a better...
Localized deer herd populations around my hunting properties (Elkhart County) are doing just fine. Somedays you see deer somedays you don't....many of us grew up when deer were almost far too abundant to be honest.
Proper form and it won't happen, welcome to the awesome side of hunting. You kill a deer with one and you'll understand why all us Bowhunters love it so much compared to boomsticks.
Another 100, another flawless range report. Growing on me no doubt, best trigger/reset combo I have tried in any single stack 9mm. The LC9s has less pick up at the front end but that is the only one I can say has any thing over the Bersa.
Stands were 90% up in July, been shooting my broadheads for about a month or so never more than 1 at a time and patiently fighting the urge to check all the cams up every day :D
My bow is silent :) Just poking is all. Been a fun read as I love guns but not for hunting purposes. I'm a fan if I were to hunt with a gun of Muzzleloaders or the Savage 220.
