      reloading for sig P226

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into those. I have never heard of Powerbond before. I will play around with my powder charge and see if I can find a sweet spot and go from there. I have always shot 115gr bullets from my 9mm, what will shooting a heavier or lighter bullet affect, or is it...

Who has access to your gun safe?

Myself and my wife only. That is where we keep all her papers that we need secure. I have tried multiple times to buy a locking filing cabinet for her but she says that she doesn't need a full filing cabinet and she is fine with using 1 of my shelves. I think she is missing the hint that I want...

      reloading for sig P226

Thanks Aszerigan, when I had priced out the bullets it was only $2 more for 100 of XTP compared to Rainier. I would save quite a bit if I bought another 1000 Rainier though. For my basic target plinking that I do I am planning on sticking with a plated bullet but I really just wanted to see if...

      reloading for sig P226

I have been reloading for my Sig P226 9mm for a few years with no concerns. I previously have used Rainier copper plated 115gr round nose bullets, W231 powder with WSP primers and mixed brass. Bullets shot well enough from the beginning but I wasn't making 1 hole groups like I obviously would...

      AAR: Ossian Indiana, May 21-22

Couldn't ask for a better way to spend a weekend. Learned more than I ever thought I could about shooting and the history of this great country in 1 weekend. Also never realized how sore I could be after 2 days of shooting. I would have slept alot better afterwards if I wasn't dreaming about...

      Noob reloading questions

I agree with Ion. I load 5.0 grains of W231 with 230 gr fmj. I have missed charging 2 cases and both times the bullet was stuck half way down the barrel. That was before I used loading blocks. At that time I would charge the case and then seat the bullet. After that day at the range I started...

Ok thanks. They are almost the same price on their website as they are from anyone else anyway.

      10/22 upgrades ?

For those of you with your Tech Sights, will I be able to zero my rifle in at 25 yards with the TSR200? I found that brownells now has them in stock but they still do not have the TSR100 available. I had read in some customer reviews that they were not able to zero theirs in at 25 yards and had...

      10/22 upgrades ?

Where did you guys get your tech sights? I have looked and the guys at my gunshop looked and they are out of stock everywhere.

      10/22 upgrades ?

Almost forgot, What is the major difference between the TSR100 and TSR200 Tech sights? I just want to make sure I get the better sights for this gun, as in I don't want to buy the more expensive set if it isn't going to benefit me at all. Thanks again.

      10/22 upgrades ?

Well I have 3 more factory magazines coming so that will give me 4 total. I have my sling set up ready to go, and I am going to get the tech sights before the appleseed shoot. I will have to kick around the idea of the trigger kit or the hammer kit to help the trigger pull. This was supposed to...

      10/22 upgrades ?

Already signed up for an appleseed shoot in about a month. That was the main reason that I purchased the 10/22 to begin with, Now I can't get enough shooting it. I originally thought this was just another cheap 22 rifle but now I am kicking myself for not buying one years ago.

      10/22 upgrades ?

I would really like to keep just iron sights on this gun, I have others with scopes for longer shots if needed. I have been on midwayUSA and they have more components for the 10/22 than I can afford. I was curious as to which ones would actually help the accuracy of the gun and which ones were...

      10/22 upgrades ?

I just purchased a ruger 10/22 and was wondering what upgrades would actually make the rifle shoot better/more accurate, as in sights, trigger, stock, whatever. I love this rifle for a plinker or squirrel gun but I am just curious how I can make it even better. Thanks

      Mossberg Tactical 22 for Appleseed

Just purchased a ruger 10/22 for a appleseed shoot. Very hard to beat this rifle for the money IMO. It is light weight, easy to handle and very accurate.

      H&K vs. Sig

I have handled and shot both hk and sigs. Both shoot great and are very accurate. For me the sigs fit my hands better, The hk seemed a little big for my hands though. But I agree with earlier posts that both are great firearms and anyone will be happy with either choice.

      How did I do?

My wife hides my credit card now when she sees me on midway's site :D. I use the same dies as you have and it is the first step that deprimes your brass. I would recommend getting a tumbler that comes with a sifter and some media/polish. I purchased the Frankfort Arsenal tumbler kit (part...
