If that does not work try over at the falfiles to see if there is anyone local that can help you out. Might even try on you tube to see if there is a walk through.
I bought the FNX -45 in FDE just as everything was starting to go crazy. Like everyone has said it is a big gun, but it does shoot extremly well. I was very surprised by the accuracy and recoil.
I kind of look at it as a poor mans HK45.
There are so many over the years. I shoot mostly at Kingsbury, which can be very good or very bad.
I like to try and get the first lane or two so that I dont have to worry so much about people behind me, but that donest always work.
I have been swept many times.
Told people to not to mess...
I love these threads where everyone rips on the gun store of thier choice for whatever reason. Not to say that many stores and the people that work at them dont supply enough ammunition to make these threads pop up on a regular basis.
Gun stores have changed over the years and the current...
The 91/30 will be about your cheapest model to get into with prices ranging from $75 to $150 for a basic non collector type.
I prefer the longer 91's over the 91/30 and like the Finnish M39 the best. I never cared for the M44 or T53 models, but the Model 38 and 91/59 are pretty fun carbines.
I love these threads hammering gunshops and employees! And I will agree that many shops find it difficult to provide a "basic" customer service to everyone.
However, lets talk about customers why dont we! ;)
In 7 years of working at a gunshop behind the counter I have seen many things.
I...
I use an older Galco Fletch belt holster and it has held up well over the years. it really depends on what you want and how to carry it. Look at some of the 1911 holsters as they will cross over to the BHP.
Saw a lot of the people from the show come into Midwest today and sold a bunch of stuff to them.
I thought it would be a slow day , but ended up pretty dang busy.
Cant say that I agree with the statement if you monitor whats still rolling on the sites around. The whole "gunbot" program really screwed things up and there are aton of guys buying and flipping ammo to the mindless masses.
One good thing is that Cabelas started to limit people, so no mass buys...
Base DPMS no rear sight - $1199
DPMS Sport - $1099
Sig M400 various - $1799 to 2499
CORE 15 Scout with Magpul MBUS and 4 pmags - $1399
People are still buying, but its is slowing
They make great products and I have built a number of rifles with their parts for myself and buddies. My current is a 14.7 pinned midlength with light weight hammer forged barrel.
Buy with confidence.
I picked up a NIB Sig M400 the day it happened, but it was already in process so I didnt get hit with the price increases.
I did put an order in for some AR mags, again at regular prices that are still being filled from the back order.
I guess my only real panic buy was an FNX 45 in FDE. So...
Meh ... i have had a few people back out of some deals I had put out there, and a couple have actually sent the money promised.
Overall though there seems to be no logic in the bidding and the buying right now. I have watched one guys action go higher than it should have and the exact same...
I work at midwest on the weekends and called the guys today to check out a few things and they said it was dead slow the last couple of days.
With inflated prices, limited selection, and no money most people are opting out.
