Anyone alese watch this show? Personally I dig it...like seeing how they operate.plus the fact that they all carry glocks with rail-mounted light that looks just like mine makes it even better...lol....just saying
I own both calibers & one of the main issues for me(&no one has mentioned it yet)is the 45 is so damn loud. Idk bout u but I don't go walkng around with muffs on & if shtf I wanna have all the awareness I can of the situation...

Article I read said nothing about the unit price, but since I can't quote sources(it was in some gun rag I read yrs back)I won't argue....I think glocks should win but lacking external safety mite just give the m&p the win....just my .02
Glocks were issed to the iraqi forces by the us because "they can" withstand the environment....if the beretta is truly going to the wayside,I believe glock has a good chance
QUOTE=DustyDawg48;2133837]Grats on the new G19, one of the finest 9mm out there. Mine is my daily carry and has been a fantastic gun since day one. Almost impossible to go wrong with a 19!
This^^^^.......don't leave home with out my 19
Thread seems trollish in nature.....imho. that being said,I've had multiple steroes ripped off over the yrs....lifes a b*tch....thieves exist......id like see police report or get more info
Good choice....what gen u going with? I recommend the gen4.....shoots super smooth, most on here recomend 3rd gen cuz its been around longer but since I was only gonna get 1 glock I figured get the latest version. Any hiccups the first batch of 4th gens had,its been fixed by now

Its like a car wreck....I can't stop looking. I even came back after seeing the thread resurrected....man I think it looked better stock. No disrespect, just havng a laugh
I have2 a p97 stainless in .45. Got it new for 359 some 5or6 yrs ago. Its definitely one of the smoothest guns I've fired. Very little recoil, like others have said the the thing is heavy as hell. +1 here
Absolutely amazing read! I love "behind the scenes" stuff like this. Also wamma read"seal team six" book that just came out......bravo to those guys...

I concur....I bought the.40 as my 1st gun cause I was only 18 & on a extremely limited budget. The thing jammed so often I just quit shooting it. I eventually sold it. Would not trust my life with it......

Ehhhhh...crocodiles,alligators......clip,magazine......point is hipoints are junk..least the pistols are...just my .02.....insert purple where necessary
Nope, had a .40...thing jammed least once or twice every clip. Not to mention heavy as hell. On the other hand....they would prob do more business if they had diff look
