Caught this little guy in the act...but I let him go. I won't feel so bad if I trap him though.

I caught this little guy last night with dog food. I'm having a terrible problem with them in our berry trees and leaving little surprises for my dog in the yard that he likes to eat and roll in. They've also been tearing up my mom's hummingbird feeder. I've already shot 7 of them, maybe 8...
+1 for heading down the 21st Century Firearms in Bluffton. David has some Dillon stuff setup that you can get your hands on and get a feel of what you are buying.
19 prior to today. So the one I shot out of my bedroom window today makes 20. I had FMJ loaded into my AR and I hate shooting them with that because it doesn't kill them as quickly but that's all I had. The first shot hit him in his right side and tore a nasty hole all along his side. He...
Very nice photos. I would love to head to Alaska.
Bigum, my girlfriend loves the photos I take, but hates that I spend so much time taking a few hundred pictures before I get the results I want! She's going to hate me on vacation! Speaking of vacation, I just picked up another SanDisk Extreme...
Thank you Bigum. I was super excited to take these pictures and see how they looked after processing them. Unfortunately, I'm just demoing the Lightroom software and in 20 more days it's gone. :(
Anywho, your photos are absolutely stunning. I'm looking forward to seeing what this thing can...
I'm sorry to hear that. I was laid off about a week ago, and will be off until anywhere from late August to early October. I've done nothing but work 60 hours a week for the past 3 months so I'm taking a little time for myself and my girlfriend. :)
Nice pictures everyone! :ingo:
Glad to see another Pentax user. I know they have a much smaller following than Nikon and Canon crowds, but I really love mine. I played with a bunch of cameras before getting my K20D, but for the amount I have invested in it, I couldn't have done better I don't think.
If so, post a few of your favorite pictures you've personally taken! :)
I'm planning a trip to D.C. and New York City at the end of the month with my girlfriend and decided to get a really nice camera. I've had a Pentax 35MM SLR for a few years with 3 different lenses, so I figured why bother...
So these are becoming a big problem with me as of late. I'm logged in, creating a post and after spending a good 5-10 minutes on it, I hit Submit and it says I'm logged out and need to log in again. I log in and it refreshes my post screen, but all I'm getting is a blank white screen. I...
This reminds me of the video of a guy shooting his .50 off of the lowered tailgate of his Ford pickup. The muzzle was too close to the tail-light assembly, and the blast shattered the lens.
Yes and no, depending on what part of the magazine assembly failes to function.
Storing mags loaded too long may force the feed lips outward and cause failure to feed issues while springs benefit from being loaded all the time rather than being loaded then unloaded, then loaded then unloaded...
From scrap lead, to ready to load...
Lubed up and ready to be sized. Not every bullet needed sizing. In fact, the majority of them didn't, but a few needed heavy resizing, so the 15 minutes it took to size all of them was no big deal.
Setting on the ram ready to be sized.
Sized bullet...
jimbo-indy,
I often find Speer small pistol primered 45ACP brass mixed in with my stuff. I sorted through about 4k brass the other night and found a handful of it.
Let's see some old, rare, or otherwise unique brass (or loaded ammunition) and anything you'd like to share about it.
I was sorting through some of my misc. 45ACP brass last night and ran across a few that caught my eye.
They're listed by headstamp/manufacturer/date/information.
