      I don't think the club house is open during still-boards. Your better off looking at the calender to see the first skeet night and stop by then. You can also get it from their website.

      Muzzleloading NEW SCHOOL

      I have a CVA Optima that I bought for my first, three years ago. Haven't had a reason to buy a second. It likes 90g of 777 ffg and 300g xtp. Which CVA did you buy? Didn't mean to hijack.....nice looking smokepoles above!

      Muzzleloader Break In ?

      No real break in required. I would swab the barrel to remove packing oils but thats about it. I would put at least 50 loads through it before messing with a scope.

      I belong there and would be more than happy to take you up there and give the nickel tour. I am in the Oaklandon/Geist area and its about a 25 minute drive for me. 10,25,50 and 100 yard tables. Nice place and generally, nice people.

      I am into my third year with my Optima and have really enjoyed it. I too bought it as my first muzzleloader and it still has not disappointed me. It will shoot just about any load well. Obviously it was built with the powerbelts in mind. Mine also likes a 300g hornady xtp pushed by 90g of 777...

      I have been told if there is a hog population in Indiana its down by the river. I don't think there are a lot of them.
