I switch from State Farm (agent was my father's close friend) to Farm Bureau (agent a friend of mine).
When I need something and call the office, the "secretaries" are helpful. My agent = a ghost.
The M&P 15-22 is cool, but WAY overpriced right now for what it does. I agree with getting a 10/22 and modifying it to suit the tactical feel you are going for.
However, I have a friend who get a M&P 15-22 to use for training (muscle memory) for his AR-15. The advantage being that he can...
I seriously considered it but haven't pulled the trigger. They are on gunbroker for a little over the $199 price point, for the base.
I think it's interesting, but I am leaning toward a 10/22 instead.
I have a cousin (by marriage) who, when adding ing to the end of a word that ends with 'e', doesn't drop the 'e'.
Example:
boreing instead of boring
giveing instead of giving
battleing instead of battling
comeing instead of coming
You get the idea.
Drives me absolutely freaking crazy when I...
So...to be CLEAR...I am LEFT HANDED. Not politically left leaning.
I am a conserative and I want less government (spending, taxes, waste) and more liberty.
To re-state: SCHMEED IS LEFT HANDED, NOT LEFT LEANING. :)
:patriot:
HAHAHAHA. That makes sense then. When I see lefty...I think left handed.
For political leftness, I prefer:
liberal wacko
nutjob
idiot
brainless
...
I could keep going.
I was in GM yesterday in Castleton and there is a sign right by the front door that they are out of stock on AR-15s and 223/556 ammo. Seems to indicate they don't plan to get any more.
On another note, they are hiring for the gun department if anyone is looking for a job. Might be a fun one.
Let's just wait until they are banned and we'll be able to buy them for $14-$15 again. Magpul will put a "pin" in the magazine that will limit the spring to 10 rounds. Open up the mag, remove the "pin" and you're good to go.
Stinks that they are controlling what you view...but I guess since they are providing the wifi, it's their choice. Try and proxy next time. I.e. proxify dot com. Might work...might not. :)
Ohio does not honor our carry permits, so I believe you cannot carry the firearm to Ohio (legally). I would ask him to meet you in Indiana, just on the border. When it comes to actual transfer, I would ship it to his FFL. It will only cost you a few $$$ and you'll be covered.
