Price is secondary. Of course less is always nice but I'm not opposed to paying more for a gun that is worth it.
I do prefer single action trigger but that only because the only gun I've owned with a double action was a 357 revolver. No experience with double action semi-auto's.
agreed. All my formal training was in the military 20 years ago. But I do have interest in trying something new non the less. I wish there were a good way to "test drive" different guns but I haven't found one yet.
I currently have a G17 gen 4. I'd like to get a second hand gun but am undecided what to buy. I'm torn on whether to get another 9mm or a 40 s&w. I used to have a G22 that I really liked and I still have some 40 S&W ammo. I'd like to try something other than a Glock. I really like Glocks...

Some over zealous LEO's may see passive aggressive as confrontational. Wrong as they may be, it still may only serve to escalate the situation. It's a personal choice and you would be in the right to take either approach. You have to be the one to decide what is appropriate for you in that...
I was on "hiatus" from shooting in '08 and recently picked it back up again. How high did prices go and how fast did they come back down from the high? Say for 9mm 115gr ammo.
It would seem to me that by dodging his question in the first place you are inviting a pissing match. You are sort of daring the cop to try and show you "who's boss". Doesn't mean he's right but I think you'd be less likely to end up being "detained" if you simply answered his yes or no...
Has anyone seen an alternative to the Hornady case feeder for the LnL? Is it possible to get a feeder without the automated electric sorting/tube feeding device? It would be nice to be able to have a less expense alternative case feeder even if it meant hand filling the tube.
