I had my federal tax refund burning a hole in my pocket so I decided it was time for a new gun.:):
I got a brand new G27 Gen4 from 21st Century Firearm in Bluffton. Now I just cant wait to wait to get to the range to fire it. It has a manufacture date of 1-5-11..only 21 days old!:rockwoot:
When I got mine back in September, I used the L1 service and did that and paid the local fee all on the same day. I had my LTCH in 4 days. 3 of those days were from it being in the hands of tha mail system. The issue date on my LTCH is the very next day after I did the prints and paid local PD.
Safety glasses are always a must during shooting for me. I was at the range a few weeks ago and had some brass that hit my eye protection..would have been a real pain had I not had the glasses. Also a few years ago I was shooting and had some hot brass that went right down my (tucked in) shirt...
I thought it would be stupid, but after seeing the constant ads on TV for it I thought I'd check it out. Wasnt too bad..I got a few laughs out of it. I will probably watch it more often if I remember.

I went the L1 route and had everything filed with Fort Wayne PD the same day and had my LTCH in 4 days! 3 of those days was spent on it arriving in the mail. I noticed the issue date was the very next day from my file and fingerprinting. Needless to say, there are benefits to using the all...

If you point a weapon at an LEO, you run the risk of being shot. They tend to frown on you pointing weapons at them. I think I learned that lesson back in like kindergarten. The same goes for just about anyone though..if you point a weapon you run the risk of being shot..you never know who may...
As a matter of fact, I have been through some weapons retention training, and I OC. Obviosuly, it wasnt as much retention training that LEOs receive, but I'll take whatever training I can get when it comes to having an advantage.
