      22 for Concealed Carry

      I was always told to carry atleast a .38. This was from my father and my CHL instructor (from Texas). Yes, a well placed .22 could stop someone, but under stress that might not be possible. I carry a 9mm and feel anything in ceter mass will stop the treat.

      How many different calibers do you have?

      Short answer: Not enough. Taurus 1911 (.45 ACP) and Kal Tec P11 (9mm), that's all I have now. Looking to get a Taurus Judge as my next gun. That should count as two more calibers.

      Yeah I figured most people would respond with still on the hip. I am comfortable with mine on my hip standing or sitting, but I find the seatbelt gets in the way if I need to remove my gun while in the car.       Where do you keep your carry handgun when driving? I thought this might led to some good positions for comfort and ease of access. I put mine in a holster in the driver's door. I'm left handed, so it is easy access if something may happen while stopped and it is out of sight (I like CC).

      What would you use for home defense?

      I'm a fan of the Taurus Judge. The 410 shotgun shells makes it a good "point and shoot" gun. As I am in an "cozy" apartment it's more maneuverable than a actual shotgun and I'm not too worried about over penetration.

      Anyone recommend a good snap cap for a 9 mm and 45 acp? I have read some reviews about some brands don't eject properly.

      Break Top Revolver

      Does anyone still make break top revolvers? I think it would be an interesting gun to own. I'm not a collector and would want one in shooting condition. Anyone have an opinion? Worth the buy? Fun to shoot? Thanks
