Using a lawyer will not be that expensive if you are already agreed on the details.
Costly Lawyer divorces are caused by arguments over finances and custody.
If you explain this to a lawyer, they may just have one of their legal clerks assist you.
PSE Mach-12
Have a PSE Mach-12 single cam. I have it maxed out at 30" and 75+lbs. I have been having fun "tweeking" it in but have done all I can to it. Technology is changing so much with the new parallel limbs and faster cams on the newer models. The newer bows are faster right out of the...
I have been to Shooters in New Haven. It is about 2 miles east of the Auction site. Small shop but a nice guy who knows what he is doing. I am sure the $15 is for the background check. You can tell by some of the discriptions for the guns that the person inputting the info did not know anything...
Of course
No matter what you think of him and his views, he is still President. If we all just stay in our little groups agreeing with each other we will be stereo typed. Also chance to show we like beer almost as much as firearms.:D
Do the math
A 45 caliber bullet has over 4 times the surface area as a 22 caliber bullet. Plus with the lead, who knows how much expansion was involved. The racoon would have obsorbed a tremendious amount of energy. I would think the inside of the racoon was nothing but mush. With the animal...
Almost $2.00 each for the bullet alone
From following the link, it looks like the bullet alone is almost $2 each. Machine turned solid brass. Lots of carefull preparation and awsome ability for those results!
IQ test to own a gun?
I am all for gun rights but maybe an IQ or common sense test is needed. Unforunately there is no written test for "stupid". It comes out in actions.:dunno:
I am back from a family vacation in the Nevada, Arizona, Utah area. Grand Canyon is a fantastic sight. Go if you get a chance. Pictures do not do it justice.
Anyway, my Mother and Father-in-Law retired in Southern Utah, so we stayed with them. He is a reloader so we went to a few stores. Just...
Yes I do hand load my 308 now. Rezeroing is not a problem and I know there is plenty of travel on my scope. Just courious about if is usually a big adjustment or just a change for the flatter trajectory. I target shoot now but I would look to the smaller caliber for preditors and varmints. I...
Very nice. Thanks. How much scope adjusting do you have to do then changing? Another reason I was thinking of this is because I have rather expensive rings and scope set-up on the receiver. Any problems there?
I have a Savage 10FP in 308. Over the years I have toyed with the idea of changing the barrel myself with the "kits" I have seen. It comes with the barrel, jam nut wrench and a head space gauge. This is possible because on the way Savage assembles the barrel to the receiver. For my 308 the...
One thing to remember is that the Desert Eagle actualy uses 44 Remington magnum shells which are easy to find. The AMT and Wildey 44 Automags are rimless and are made from cut down 308 brass so you either reload or pay for custom ammo.
Wildey 44 automag
AMT Automag
Either one of these will do. The top Wildey Automag 44 is gas operated. The lower AMT Automag (Dirty Harry's) is actually short recoil operated. To go along with them I need the special sizing and reloading dies for the 308 brass. The Wildey claims a adjustible...
I hand load 308 win. I only reload rounds that have been fired in my savage. So I buy quality ammo and when reload the brass. I use A-max bullets with Varget powder and Lee Collet dies. When I was really into it, I had a Chronograph and worked up loads checking my muzzle velocity. Measuring each...
Husqvarna 30-06 Mauser action, Beautiful rifle. Was my first high powered rifle. I thought I needed to get a rifle more accurate (heavy barrel, Adjustible trigger, ect.) So I sold to have money to buy new. Miss it.
