      Shop Update!

Sounds very good Joe. I know there have been lots of cuts and scrapes, sweat and tears to get to this point. Keep your focus and enjoy the ride!

      My Blade Show Knife.

That's a substantial piece of steel Joe. I like the rise in the blade just before the swedge, and the curved rise into the swedge, giving a normal design a kick in the butt.

      my knife life

Nice knives. I know what you mean about them being made in China. Back when I was in high school I had a buck folder that I kept in my car. Someone stole it in the parking lot at school. A few years ago feeling nostalgic I was considering buying a new one just for old time sake....yeah..I dont...

      The PACK Project

You have some really nice looking blades there Joe. Your a real busy guy! When I grow up I might have to talk to Dave about cutting some blanks for me. I doubt I could afford it right now.

      A 3" folder under $100?

I bought a Benchmade mini griptillian and absolutlely love it. It holds a very nice edge and is very pocketable, thumbstud...pocket clip, but I dont like pocket clips so I took it off. I use it all the time. It's a great knife to have when a stray thread, envelope, or cardboard box attack you...

First.. let me appologize for no letting anyone know why I have been gone so long. Let me bore you with a little about myself.... I'm 53, I have high blood pressure, three stints in my heart, I've had two heart attacks. I lost my right leg in a work accident in 1981, had my left knee replaced...

Building an INGO knife (a WIP thread)

For those of you interested in giving this a try, I thought I would list a couple low level belt grinders. This is the belt grinder I started with. It's from Sears and I noticed the price has gone up. Craftsman 21513 1/3 hp Electric Belt/Disc Sander (21513) - Tools - Bench & Stationary Power...

Building an INGO knife (a WIP thread)

Now I am going to stick the bolsters back on the knife so that I can profile the bolsters to the knife. This wont be a final fitting, this is just to get them close. I need to get the bolster mounted and the tang of the knife shaped to prepare the wood handle to be fitted. I need to fit the...

Building an INGO knife (a WIP thread)

Okay, the weather is a little bit better and I have some of my other stuff out of the way so it is time to continue. I wanted to let you guys know that when I glued the pieces together for the bolster I used super glue...or gorilla glue. This is just a temporary measure to allow me to work on...
