      How is the trigger and sights? That s&w e series has caught my eye. Its around the 1200 I want to spend. Problem is none of the LGS don't have many 1911s. Would like to hold the e series...sigs...and some SA commanders. Unless I can get a used DW.

      We plan to go to her grandparents and shoot several different calibers. 9mm .40 .45 12ga 20ga .44mag and a .50 cal (for me...muahahahaha). So I guess we will see what she is comfortable with.

      For all those of you that have shot alot of 1911s. Which models have the least recoil? I've been looking for a 1911 for awhile. I want a 45 but I need to make sure my girlfriend can handle it confidently. Looking for a commander size 1911. $1300 limit. Thanks!

      I applied yesterday. Non L1 (was told by a co worker who applied in december that we didn't have a L1....we do). So hopefully it wont be 4 to 6 months.

      Did she do you L1 solutions? I was told by a guy I work for that fort Wayne didn't have one and had to go to the city county building. So I did that, filled out the app, paid the 75 and 50. Three stamps. Then they took the digital prints there and I signed my print form. Didn't know about the L1...

      So before I move to my next address I just fill the form out and that's it? They will forward the license to my next address even if I haven't received it in the mail by that time?

      It was 75 money order ti the state and 50 cash for fort Wayne pd. They did my digital finger prints there. Is that not normal?

      I just applied for my lifetime yesterday. They lady said 4-6 months?!!!! Well I am not going to resign on my leases for my apartment. I have to be out by march 22nd. If she was right and I wait that long (total BS) do I need to send a address change form in for whatever my new address will be...

      Sort of narrowed the list down: -SA lightweight champion operator (if I can find one?) -Dan Wesson CCO (if I save a little more $$) -Sig c3 -Sig Nightmare carry -Colt lightweight commander Any other "carry" 1911 im missing or should look at?

      Just applied for life time here in ft Wayne. Only thing on my record is a misdemeanor owi. The lady said expect 4 to 6 months!!!!! Wow I knew it would be maybe 2-3more at most. But up to six months? Doesn't seem right.

      I am going now to pay and apply for my life time. I was arrested and convicted of an misdemeanor owi. Only thing on my record. Do I need to know my exact conviction date?

      If I want a 9mm the Cz 75 sp-01 is number one. But im leaning towards a .45. And non come second to a 1911 for me. Choices choices choices.
