    Yea!
I just found this in the LTCH wait time thread:

    IC 35-47-2-6
Granting or rejecting initial application; renewals
Sec. 6. (a) Every initial application for any license under this chapter shall be granted or rejected within sixty (60) days after the application is filed

If this is the law what gives?

Can I carry with my LTCH app on me?

I need a very informed person to answer this.

    Thanks Jimmy

    Yea!
Well thanks for your answers, I wonder why they included a timeframe
    in the IC for that.

It should just say whenever we damn well feel like it.

Well the reason they included the time limit is easy- coming up with a roadmap as to how to enforce it is not.

As to why the limit- they didn't want the LTCH to be effectively denied by an endless black hole of delays....now, how to enforce that? Never seen it done.

In Illinois they had 30 days to process your FOID card. I don't think they ever got them out faster than 45 days, with it taking 3 or 4 months a lot of the time. Been like that for years. Nothing has ever come of it.
