You can use a .17 on squirrel and rabbit, but be forwarned; anything other than a head shot will blow all the meat right off of it.
A .22 and shotgun will work great, and I would try to stick to a number 7 or 6. Coyotes on the other hand, go ahead and feel free to use anything. .17hmr to...
I thought that gas piston was more reliable than DI. I am fine with DI. I think I have decided to build for a couple of reasons. It will help me learn the gun and platform a lot better, and I love the fact that I can buy the parts when I have the spare cash. So I need suggestions on uppers...
Well I have shot tons of ars. I just really want to know if I should build or buy. I know im being pretty vague about my questions.
I guess I am almost looking for around 600-800$ price range. I would prefer gas piston if possible (for price range). Is there anything do-able in that price...
I figured that would pop up. I guess I am really wanting a gas piston ar. I am looking for quality parts that are not bank breaking, I guess the best bang for your buck parts.
I have heard a lot of people mention spikes lowers and never anything about uppers.
I have decided that my next gun will be an ar 15/10. I have some basic question and some more advanced.
Will the ar-15 reach out as far as an ar-10? Is there really any differences between the two besides the caliber? What is honestly more accurate in your personal experience
Now this...
Then think about picking a different gun all together. Maybe a 243 or 270 bolt action with a nice butt pad on it? Also gives a great excuse for another gun!
Did you take it all the way apart. Almost looks like to me that the firing assembly isn't seated properly. On phone so I can't watch video. Also, have you tryed switching the pin around? Sorry I couldn't be more help
Like I said, I could keep a group the size of a dime, and I'm not great shot.
To answer your question about farther yards out its pretty hard. You can kill prairie dogs at 300 yards, but wind is your greatest enemy. With the bullet being so light, anything past 150-200 yards your bullet...
The round itself is so accurate. I owned a marlin and a savage. The savage could hit a dime at 100 yards every time if there was no wind. A bull barrel and a nice scope with steady hands and you can shoot a ground hog in the eye. Any of them you can't go wrong, best bang for buck I would say...
