      I started out on a .22 just to gain experience in shooting overall and to work on my technique and overall skill. I personally think a .22 would be a great starting gun IMO.

      Are the grit option for the talon grips, to abrasive or aggressive. Because i know there is a rubber option but i still want maximum grip.

      I know you said you wanted a lock or a strap system, but i would take a look at multiholsters.com they do great work and their holster have an amazing fit. Honestly my words don't do it any justice. Hope this helps good luck :yesway:
