What do you do when someone sees your gun under the stall door?

Do you yell "Stall Pop!" beforehand? That's the question.

Beware When Buying Brass On Gunbroker

RMR Bullets is starting to supply brass as well (maybe I am behind the times and they have done that for a while), but I like them a lot for many different things that they sell. The pricing is great.

      1911 ejection question

There is a tool, sold by brownells, to correctly "tension" an extractor. Might be useful to have around anyway, and might help you troubleshoot this issue (at least eliminate one potential cause).

      Gun finish alternatives?

I believe that you can spray cerakote (at least one of their varieties) with an HVLP system now, so if you know someone who has a paint booth or is a woodworker, you might be able to go that route yourself. I would test on something cheap first, of course.

      New AR Pinging noise

Could be the gas tube sliding into the gas key, a little slop there will cause a "ping" noise.

      Advice on a holster?

I have been using Milt Sparks Versa-Max II's for years, and they are very comfortable for every situation. They take a while to get a hold of, but they are more than worth it, in my opinion.

      Palmetto State Armory?

I grab my .223 Hornady's from them in bulk, good experience overall with them.

Any Wilcat valley R&P club members from Brookston?

If that's the case, I have not heard of it at any board or public meeting as of yet.

INMG Series - Wildcat Valley April 29

Yup, I will never pre-register shooters for a club match. As far as this last match goes, yes we had some delays, but everything ran smoothly even without being able to preregister and plan for a certain number of shooters. I lost a bay on Friday and therefore lost a stage. I would say that...

INMG Series - Wildcat Valley April 29

Absolutely, I hope that everyone had a great time. We truly appreciate the turnout, it is great to see these numbers at the club multigun level. We hopefully will not have those kinds of delays again, once we have the correct number of stages and a better flow.

INMG Series - Wildcat Valley April 29

Just a clarification on the cutoff thing. Of course I am not going to turn away a shooter who drives long distances to attend the match. And I am not going to turn anyone away that is registered in the points series. At some point you do need to cap event participation, or else the numbers...

Don't worry, I can make you miss at 25 yds just as easily as I can at 200. ;)

Indiana State Multigun Championship - CANCELLED

This comment hit the nail on the head, that's the exact reason we cancelled. We can not be expected to hit a moving target. All the stage design and debugging that was done flew out the window at the drop of a dime. And when I say we, I mean the match directors, and Wildcat members. We are...

Our May 8th Wildcat Valley Multigun Match (Brookston, Indiana) is cancelled. Sorry to all those that were looking foward to shooting this match.

      [Rescheduled] Wildcat Multigun - October 31st, 2010

[Rescheduled to October 31st, this match was on the club calendar for October 3rd and was moved due to a scheduling conflict] We're holding another Multi-Gun match on October 31st at Wildcat Valley Rifle & Pistol Club near Brookston, IN. Indiana Multigun (INMG) rules apply (attached as well)...

      Wildcat Multigun - August 8th 2010

We could avoid gas from rifle breaks (and shotgun/pistol breaks for that matter) by separating the three shooters horizontally a bit, it just requires 3 RO's to be on the line for each team, since one can't cover all three when the distance increases. That's something we would definitely...

      Wildcat Multigun - August 8th 2010

Oh that Boat hasn't seen the last of it's duty cycle. It will be used until it sinks. ;) Next time I will remember to let people know to bring a lot of water for the day, I was feeling the heat by the end as well. Scores will be out by Wednesday at the latest, by the way.

      Wildcat Multigun - August 8th 2010

Thanks to everyone who came out, I hope that everyone enjoyed it. If you have any feedback overall, or any stage specific feedback pm me or post it here. Thanks to all that stayed to help with the teardown, and those who helped to set it all up! I know that was a long, hot match for most...

      Wildcat Multigun - August 8th 2010

Yea not so much fun in the clubhouse. It does not have wifi, it does however have a soda machine with mellow yellow.... for what that's worth. Strict 180 in there too...
