If you were to build a more precision style AR?

Why spend all the money on the gun? Go with a Rock River national match rifle and call it good. RR NM rifles have taken many a high power shooter through master. Spend the rest of the money on reloading components and get to shooting. By the time you wear out the barrel, you will be ready to...

Which RRA A2 Lower To Buy?

I love the feel of my RR 2 stage. I just purchased a national match from them, and it shoots great. The trigger has a great feel to it, and to me the second stage is just right.

SHTF scenarios - serial role playing

I would certainly be willing to trade some food for a sitrep of the areas he has ben travelling. At no point would he be allowed to scope out our operation. He could be a loner, or a scout for a larger group. I would probably send my father in law out with a couple days food. That man can talk...

I'm just too busy to start

If you do not have time to reload, you probably do not have time to go shooting anyways. I work on my reloading in small batches, takes up smaller blocks of time that way. I personally enjoy reloading as a hobby in itself. Of course, I enjoy shooting even more.

      new to gardening.

Grow a little bit every year. Once you get to the point that your garden is producing more than you can eat at a time, then you will have to get into canning or other food preservation methods. Make time to help the kids with the garden. If you do not, then it will probably go to weeds and get...

AR extractor spring o-ring - yay or nay?

All of my Bolt carriers came with that o-ring on the extractor spring. I think it is becoming a lot more common. Multiple places of origin on the bolts, none of them were high end.

      Stuck Case, Dillon 550B

I adjust my decapping pin down a little bit extra for that exact reason. I have had that happen to me a few times doing .223 LC brass. Instead of taking a chance bending your shell plate, you can unscrew the big allen bolt holding the shell plate in place and then just lift it out. DO NOT forget...

      Dillon Strong Mount

Give a call to Down by the tracks in Galveston, they had one last time I was in there, but it was a few weeks ago.

      Stuck Case, Dillon 550B

Did the spent primer get fully removed from the case? Did this happen on the upstroke while priming?

      "V" flip up rear sight?

I would sit down and come up with some prototypes! I have never seen such a device for an AR, and would probably make you some good money.

      Strawberries are in season!

We go to Smiths Farm, just north of Frankfurt. Great picking this year. We have a nice wild strawberry patch in the backyard, but I don't feel like fighting the birds lol.
