Thanks for the hospitality Mike. Despite mother natures refusal to cooperate, we did get some trigger time in, and had a good time doing it. It was good to put some faces to names and hang out with some INGO folks! I'd say the high lite of the weekend was shooting the .56 Cal. Thank You Clay!
I am curious if anyone from College Park that is a member here, would give me a shout? I am also a Regular Attendee there, and know of one guy who goes to our church, and at one time said there were a lot of people from College Park.
I see you are also sort of interested in Central Indiana Group. Although I don't see your avatar on the group thread. I just figured with an awesome avatar like the one you have,I'd be happy to be-friend ya.
What Appleseed means to me
Although I am not YET a Rifleman, I will persevere until I am. Striving to obtain the patch and distinction, that the few have earned, is with in my reach and it will be done.
More importantly than becoming a Rifleman, I have assumed the distinction as an Ambassador...
I can't believe I screwed the date up on this shoot. I thought the 22nd was Sunday. Just had it in my head that that is when it was. I will hang my head in shame the rest of the weekend. And try and make the next one that's close to me.:D Looks and sounds like y'all had fun.
This likes a great time! I would love to come and share knowledge with like minded, good folks. My wife doesn't do the primitive thing, so it would just be me and maybe another INGO guy that has expressed an interest in skills training and knowledge advancement.
Besides I have plenty of gear...
Is a Rem 700 in .223 worth bedding the action, and floating the forend. And, I'd like to do it myself with a kit I saw from Sinclair. Anyone see an issue with that? Or should I leave that to pro?
Ya, I had the same idea. Also mink oil, maybe the tight areas. Ut not before I soak the holster and try that first. thanks for responding, you're the only one ,LOL
I've had one for about 2.5 years, and until I messed with the block, i have 0 zero problems with it. I was able to correct my mistake and continued with the fun and reliability of the Oly.
Like another member said above, Bradis carries a lifetime warranty on theirs. And at Bradis, if there is...
I have a very nice Galco forward kant hoster that was originally for my Glock 32-.357 Sig, and it did not sell with the gun. i am wondering if and how I can adapt it to use with my Ruger P89. It aaalmost fits. i am wondering if I soak it in something and keep the Ruger in it, if it will accept...
You are very much correct,IMHP. When ever I shoot my AR, I always get people who come over and look, and ask about it, and say they like it. I have the short heavy barrel with a floating for-end, and it is quite loud. They usually ask if it's a .308 LOL. I'm fine with it. Not out to impress...
Ok, i think this will end the dilemma of the AR problem. Dumb luck or clever action taken, all went very well today at the range. Went through 150 rounds, and not one problem. Thank you to everyone that helped with this, your ideas and suggestions, INGO rocks:rockwoot:
Made sure I talked it up...
That's interesting. Everyone else I have talked to about Loctite being put between the block and barrel say that, that is a bad idea. Ar e you recommending that because that's how it originally was?
The gas block was tight, due to 2 drops od Lock Tight used to between barrel and block at assembly.:dunno:
I warmed up the block to get it off for inspection. Scraped off that stuff and then the block was just snug when putting it back on.
