I also appreciate a little wear on a defense gun. Makes me realize its not a safe queen. Its like a scar, attesting to the things its been through. A sign it has been used and will perform when needed. My p938 is already showing wear on the slide and I am totally fine with it.
When I use hydro shocks they nose dive into the feed ramp when stripped off the mag. Worse with a full mag under high spring pressure. Wedge themselves quite nicely right in there I must say.
Mine cycles any FMJ round fine.
PMC hollow points and Remington hollows work great as well.
I carry it with Hornady and have put enough through to feel safe with them.
It WILL NOT eat Federal Hydro shocks!! Constant failure to feed issues, especially off the top of a full magazine. I put in...
True. I keep hoping! Unfortunately I have been let down more often than not. just I honestly cannot believe someone would actually pay that much over a guns value. but, I guess its their problem if they do.
I don't know why I still waste my time looking!
ARMSLIST - For Sale: Sig Sauer P250 9mm subcompact pistol, new
$950 for a p250! And there were just as many overpriced guns. This one just stood out do to the sellers wonderful sales speech.
Thanks for the tips! And the link ghostdncr. Looks like Tech sights are getting the majority nod. Pretty much exactly what I am looking for. Nothing against a red dot, just wanna keep this one low tech and simple.
I am the proud owner of two 10-22's. One is set up with heavy barrel, scope, and trigger for target shooting. The second I want to keep more basic for plinking fun. My biggest gripe is the iron sights that come on it pretty much suck as far as I am concerned. Looking to upgrade. No scope or...
I had been on a waiting list at my LGS since last fall. They finally called me last week and said mine was in! Bad News, they wanted $467+ tax. I passed as i had purchased a p938 in the interim. Should have gotten the shield and doubled my money!
Furthermore, after I bought the gun I did a **** ton of online research. Ass backwards I know. Anyway, the reliability of the gun seems directly related to the shooters ability to get ahold of it. Many threads where one shooter cannot get through a magazine without any issue of some sort...
I had some money burning a whole in my pocket last year, and ran across a db9 at my LGS. I could not resist its size. I had to give it a whirl. I personally am very content with the gun. Though not as physically appealing as most of my other guns, nor as fun to shoot, it has proven to be...
I bought an Extreme version back in November 2012. Serial # 14,***. I have been nothing but pleased. I read on Sig forums that there were extraction issus with early guns, but these were remedied. I purchased mine for under $580 BNIB. Of course that was before the craziness started.
If you are ever up north check out ZX guns in Goshen. I bought a p938 extreme BNIB for $589! They always seem to have one model or another in stock every time I stop in. Maybe Indy prices are around the same, but I was excited compared to the $800+ price tag at the Fort Wayne gun store. (...
