      Looking for a N-PAP

      Call Keith in New Haven. He seems to have them fairly regularly. Picked one up from him a few months back for $600 even. A little more than Atlantic or J&G and the like. But by the time you pay the transfer it is not a lot different. Plus I like to handle it before I buy it.

      Utah non res

      I believe you have to send a letter along with your application packet stating the nature of the alcohol related offense if you admitted to one. That being said, it will not keep you from being granted a permit. I know for certain of someone with an O.W.I that has a Utah permit.

      Smith&Wesson shield problem. HELP

      To echo previous response, shield mags come from the factory with a mark down the center. I am not sure why, but I Have seen it on all that I have encountered. Also the slides are extremely stiff out of the box. A firm over hand rack is required, and even then it is sometimes difficult.

      A little Ooops from Winchester

      The last box of Winchester I went through had a cartridge with noticeable bullet set back. The front of the bullet barely projected beyond the brass case. I chose not to shoot it. Can only imagine the chamber pressures if it was fully charged.
